First of all, I solemnly promise to update my stories very soon – I just need a few more days. Secondly, I’ve created a LiveJournal version of Venice Miss with the same name. I’ll be posting my stories on here as well as on FictionPress from now on, because on LJ I can control who reads them (i.e. you have to be accepted into the community before you can view my stories). The carrot is that I’ll only be posting the super duper rewrite of A Quick Bite (coming very soon) on LJ. And I promise it will be worth it.

I’ve finally got round to adding some content to JUNK. There are now loads of lovely magazine scans on there for you to use, although we’ve only touched the tip of the iceberg of my magazine scan collection! Hopefully I’ll be adding more on a regular basis if life doesn’t intervene. If nothing else, it demonstrates that I read a scary amount of magazines.
Also, it’s snowed bucketloads here recently – way more than I’ve ever seen here before, and I’ve lived in Surrey for almost sixteen years – and while it looks very pretty, just about everything has come to a standstill. :(

Can you believe it’s 2010 already?! I decided to make a new layout in honour of it, albeit one that has absolutely nothing to do with the new year. I know I only just created the only one, but I, ahem, got sick of it already – it was just too bloody pale. Plus, you can never go wrong with lyrics by The Smiths.
Does anyone have any good resolutions this year? Here are mine:
1) Learn to speak Italian moderately well. I might be going to Venice in February and I’d like to be able to at least know very basic Italian by then. The last time I went I knew about two words, which made me feel like the worst tourist.
2) Exercise more. I don’t want to lose weight, I’d just like to be fitter and be able to walk up hills without feeling like I’m dying.
3) Get a real job. Because I have a very good degree, and if I’m still working in a supermarket in a year’s time, I’m going to want to kill myself.

I decided it was time for a new look and some new content. I’ve been trying to figure out how on earth to centre layouts for absolutely ages, but for some reason until now it’s always eluded me. I think it looks more professional, somehow, now that it’s centred.
Anyway, besides the obvious revamp, you may have noticed I’ve moved the cbox to a page of its own. I just decided it was easier and tidier this way. Also, I have a new page called JUNK, which is empty at the moment but will eventually hold some of my old layouts for people to use themselves, as well as a few HTML/CSS tutorials (such as how to centre layouts – hah!).
